Brian has practiced law for more than 16 years. Prior to joining Eureka, he worked in-house with technology companies and private attorney in small commercial/technology law firms. For nearly seven years he has addressed Eureka’s legal needs and recently joined the company full-time as general counsel.
He has significant experience helping address the full range of business risks and liabilities and is comfortable working directly and closely with company principals, management and decision-making teams to efficiently and cost-effectively identify, prioritize and resolve relevant legal and business issues. His focus areas include drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex customer, vendor and partner contracts, technology licensing, intellectual property development, protection and enforcement, corporate formation and governance and litigation management. Brian also has significant experience in real property matters, employment, insurance, collections, customer and vendor disputes, commercial litigation and business sales and acquisitions. Brian is uniquely qualified to understand the needs and perspective of Eureka and works hard to represent and protect their legal interests in the best possible manner.
When he’s not busy at work, Brian’s favorite place to be in Austin is somewhere between Mansfield Damn and the 360 Bridge about 30-45 minutes before sunset making one last ski run or taking in the beauty of Lake Austin with friends and family.
