As both an engineer and an attorney, Dan brings a diverse skillset and unique viewpoint to the Eureka Team. After nearly a decade of practice as a patent litigator, Dan joined Eureka to support its expert witness and legal consultancy team to focus on the technology and issues at the “heart” of legal disputes without the distractions that often accompany litigation.
As a lifelong “tinkerer,” Dan made the obvious choice to pursue a degree in engineering, which led to his work as a research engineer at The University of Texas Center for Electromechanics and consequential interest in the practical importance of intellectual property. With this interest in mind, Dan became a licensed patent agent and returned to law school to obtain his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. Dan’s subsequent legal career focused on litigating patent, and other technology-focused, cases involving a wide range of technical disciplines.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys gardening, DIY projects, golf, and Longhorn football.
Eureka is made up of technological leaders who consistently challenge and push themselves to provide better solutions. More importantly, they're simply good people - it's what makes Eureka a great place to work and a partner you can trust.
